Nice trails. Someone posted it had flies the size of Volkswagens, what they forgot to mention were the mosquitoes. We were there about 1/2 hour, and I counted more than 25 bites just on my feet! I gave up counting after that.
Peaceful and relaxing, bikers and trail walkers are both welcome on these trails. Watch out for ticks! The small water views are great and a good stop. Oh and don't touch the prickly pear cacti, they might not look prickly but they have tiny prickles that hurt. Good trails that ate usually not busy or have lots of people, that means enough parking too.
No words to describe the trail, a beautiful place
Great place to take family, or go by yourself. Nature in the middle of civilization
Excellent well-maintained trails over pine needles, crushed stone and sand, with short stretches of decking over wetlands. Parking fee of $10 for out of state residence, $5 for in-state and free with yearly sticker. Connects to the Fred Hudson Trail for about a 5-6 mile total ride and also leads to Highway 1 near the inlet bridge for even more riding. Found at the end of Hickman Road off Cedar Neck Road.
