I've come here twice in a week with two different groups of people and had a fantastic experience both times. The atmosphere and view were exceptional, as were the food and specialty cocktails. It was a packed house on one of the days (a Saturday, no surprise), and we sat at the bar while we waited for our table to open up... we were in awe of the bartenders, how fast they were and much they hustled. Our waitress was also very good, with a great sense of humor to deal with our group of 8. Very impressed with the whole establishment! I only wish they could open one in Lewes, on the canal!
This restaurant has fantastic views but the food is not great. A cheeseburger always comes well done and with American cheese, whether you like it that way or not. The crinkle cut fries from a bag are not anything special. Unfortunately service was pretty slow, but it was a busy day. The food was overpriced; you're basically paying for the view. Save yourself a few extra dollars and pack some sandwiches and eat on the beach. If you're looking to eat out with friends, there are so many other options.
Great location, love the views, can't wait to watch a sunset from here. Owned by La Vida Hospitality Group I expected Crooked Hammock beers to be featured and was not disappoint. They have a nice selection of Crooked Hammock beers on tap plus some standard big beers. The food menu is varied and delicious. The views are amazing. You need to pay for state park admission, come on people it is located in a state beach what do you expect! It is worth the price of admission.
Beautiful views. West wind was bringing in the flies. Recommend sitting outside the gazebo. Drinks were good
